Bhubaneswar, Nov 21: Chairperson of the DRIEMS University Odisha, Dr Pramod Chandra Rath has been conferred Lifetime Achievement Award on Thursday for his significant contribution to the field of education, infrastructure development and integral development.
The award was accorded to the ace educationist in the ‘Odisha Infrastructure Conclave 2024’ organized by the All-Odisha Contractors' Welfare Association.
Odisha Minister for R&B, Law and Excise Departments, Pruthwiraj Harichandan and Minister for Housing and Urban Development, Krishna Chandra Mohapatra handed over the award to Dr Rath, joining as guests.
Chairperson, the All Odisha Contractor Welfare forum, J Patra presided the meeting.
Among others, Ekamra Bhubaneswar MLA Babu Singh, forum’s Secretary Dilip Kumar Jena, Industrialist Eng. Durga Prasad Rath and Eng. Siba Prasad Rath attended the ceremony.
Worth mentioning, Dr Pramod Ch. Rath, has been committed to pioneering higher education, technical education and medical science to the youth community since last 50 years.
The DRIEMS, group of institutions, is a spectacular milestone of his educational upliftment whereas his founded Sri Durga Condev(P) Ltd is an iconic industry to shape up railway infrastructure in the state.
Apart from it, Dr Rath has excelled in the field of infrastructure and industrial development along with social service.
As a visionary, Dr Rath has been recognized by many leading organizations and government functionaries including SBI, Income Tax Department etc.
Dr Rath has so far achieved coveted Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini and Governor Award for his social and educational values among other accomplishments.
