Tusshar Kapoor is the actor who played the ‘lucky’ role in Golmal series.
In the 2006 film, Tusshar played the role of Lucky, a mute character who communicates through hilarious gestures and sounds. Tusshar was born on November 20, 1976, into a prominent Bollywood family. His father, Jeetendra, is a legendary actor, and his mother, Shobha Kapoor, a film producer.
Ekta Kapoor, his elder sister, is a well-known television and film producer.
He made his acting debut with the film "Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai" in 2001, directed by Satish Kaushik. The film, a remake of the Telugu hit "Tholi Prema," starred Tusshar alongside Kareena Kapoor. His performance as Karan in the film was well-received. The film was a hit. Filmfare awarded Tusshar the trophy for Best Male Debut.
Following his successful debut, Tusshar acted in several films, like "Kyaa Dil Ne Kahaa" (2002), "Jeena Sirf Merre Liye" (2002), "Khakee" (2004), "Gayab" (2004), Insan (2005), Dhol (2007), etc.

An alumnus of Bombay Scottish School in Mumbai, Tusshar has been the classmate of Amitabh Bachchahn’s son, Abhishek Bachchan. He later pursued higher education at the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. Despite sound academic, Tusshar had a acting tooth. His passion for acting drove him to pursue a career in the film industry.

Tusshar Kapoor is unmarried and became a single parent to his son, Laksshya Kapoor, through IVF (in vitro fertilisation) in June 2016. His decision to turn a single farther inspired many others, including his sister Ekta Kapoor. Tusshar has often spoken about how parenthood has enriched his life and brought him immense joy.
