Bhubaneswar, April 7: In a major boost to Odisha’s IT and educational ecosystems, leading IT Company HCL Technologies has planned an IT hub and a Varsity in Odisha.
Chief Minister Mohan Majhi announced that the HCL has expressed its interest to invest in Odisha, during the Investors’ meet held at Delhi.
It will soon begin its IT operations in the state. The Investors’ Meet is an event aimed at attracting investments and showcasing Odisha as an emerging business destination.
Gracing the occasion, the Chief Minister revealed that the HCL Tech will set up a campus in Bhubaneswar.Apart from it, the HCL Tech also plans to establish a university in the state.
The proposed HCL campus in Bhubaneswar is expected to function as a center for research, innovation, and digital learning.
Similarly, the proposed university is likely to offer specialized courses in computer science, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and other emerging technologies, thereby nurturing local talent and attracting students from across the country.
