Death bowling from Avesh Khan proved decisive, snatching victory for LSG after Rajasthan appeared well-positioned to chase down the target.
Markram and Badoni Guide Lucknow to 180
Batting first after losing the toss, Lucknow Super Giants posted a competitive total of 180 for 5. Their innings was built around solid contributions from Aiden Markram, who scored 66, and Ayush Badoni, who added a valuable 50 runs. Despite losing wickets at intervals, with Wanindu Hasaranga claiming two scalps for Rajasthan, LSG managed to set a challenging target.
Jaiswal Leads Royals' Chase
Rajasthan Royals seemed on course for victory anchored by opener Yashasvi Jaiswal. He played a fluent innings, scoring 74 runs keeping RR aligned with the required run rate. Entering the final three overs, Rajasthan required just 25 runs with several wickets still in hand, appearing favourites to end their recent losing streak.
