Bhubaneswar, Jan 23: Further solidifying its number one position as the most preferred digital service provider in the state, Reliance Jio added over 1 lakh mobile and wireline subscribers in Odisha in the month of November 2024.
As per the latest telecom subscription data published by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Reliance Jio added over 91000 mobile subscribers and over 13000 JioFiber / Jio AirFiber subscribers in Odisha in November. With this, the total number of mobile subscribers on Jio network in Odisha has crossed 1.55 crores.
Apart from Jio, BSNL added around 15000 mobile subscribers in Odisha, in November while Airtel lost over 26000 mobile subscribers and VI lost over 6000 subscribers during this period. Total mobile subscriber base in Odisha increased by over 74000 in November, as per the data published by TRAI. Nationally, Jio also added the highest number of mobile subscribers in November as it added over 12 lakh mobile subscribers while all other service providers lost thousands of subscribers in the month.
Reliance Jio also further cemented its leadership in wireline segment as it added over 13000 JioFiber and Jio AirFiber subscribers in Odisha, in November.
