Lucknow, April 9: Choreographer and actor Prabhu Deva, along with actor Vishnu Manchu, met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at his office in Lucknow on Wednesday to promote their upcoming film Kannappa. They were joined by Mohan Babu, Chancellor of Mohan Babu University, and Vinay Maheshwari. During the visit, CM Adityanath signed a poster of Kannappa and wished the team the best of luck for the film’s success.
As a token of appreciation, the Kannappa team presented CM Adityanath with a beautiful glass painting and other gifts before posing for group photos with him. For the occasion, Prabhu Deva wore a pink shirt paired with white pants, while Vishnu Manchu, the film's lead, opted for blue jeans and a grey shirt, accessorized with a beaded necklace that reflected his spiritual side, which aligns with the movie’s religious Hindu theme.
Kannappa stars Vishnu Manchu in the title role, alongside Preity Mukhundhan. The film also features powerhouse performances by Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar, Prabhas, and Kajal Aggarwal. Prabhu Deva is reportedly set to choreograph a song for the film. Earlier this year, the legendary dancer shared an energetic dance video on Instagram, featuring him and his son, Rishii Ragvendar Deva, performing together on stage to the delight of their fans.
