Bhubaneswar, Ap 7: The eligible beneficiaries who were left out from receiving benefits under the Subhadra Yojana will be given the financial assistance on April 22 and 23 after a survey to identify ineligible beneficiaries, said Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida.
The Deputy Chief Minister mentioned that some individuals had applied for loans and submitted their IT returns, which led to their removal from the list.
As of now, no new applications can be accepted, as the number of beneficiaries has reached one crore. A survey has been conducted among the rejected applicants, and the third installment will be disbursed to those eligible from that list. Even after March 31, some applications continued to arrive. The Deputy Chief Minister confirmed that after verifying the rejected applicants, the third installment will be provided. The government will consider the new applications later.
In addition, the self-help group will be reorganized, with a draft proposal prepared by the Mission Shakti Department. The SHG will be reorganized under new leadership. Members who have been in leadership positions for the past two years have been replaced, and new individuals have been given responsibilities.
