Cuttack, February 7: Lighting disturbance reportedly stalled India-England ODI held at the Barabati Stadium Cuttack on Sunday.
The match resumed after the floodlight that had gone off due to DG related glitches was repaired, said sources.
According to reports,the second ODI between India and England at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack was in a crucial moment. India were in a great position at that point of the match with 48 without wicket in just 6.1 overs. While Team India Captain Rohit Sharma was batting on 29, his deputy Shubman Gill was on 17.
Meanwhile, Disturbacne in floodlight halted the match after six overs of play in the second innings as it suddenly went off after a few moments’ spark.
The development occurred when India were batting in the second innings while chasing a victory target of 305 against the Team White.
