Bhubaneswar, Jan 30: Owing to some unavoidable circumstances, Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) on Thursday cancelled its special bus service to Ayodhya for the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025.
An official public notice has been issued by the OSRTC in this regard informing passengers about the cancellation. This comes into effect immediately and will remain in place until February 4, 2025.
It assured that further updates would be shared through its official social media handles and website (osrtc.org).
"We regret the inconvenience caused to passengers due to this cancellation," said OSRTC in its notice.
OSRTC has issued helpline helpline numbers 18003451122 or 7849052205 (WhatsApp) for the passengers in need of assistance.
Similarly, passengers seeking refund-related inquiries can contact OSRTC at 9937547773.
Notably, the direct bus service from Odisha for the Maha Kumbh Mela in Uttar Pradesh was flagged off on January 12 by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.
