Lucknow, April 13: BSP chief Mayawati has on Sunday reinducted her nephew Akash Anand into the party after he publicly apologized and pledged unwavering loyalty.
In a series of posts on X, Mayawati stated Anand accepted his past mistakes, vowed to stay away from external influences—especially from his father-in-law Ashok Siddharth—and committed his future solely to the BSP's cause.
While giving Akash another chance, Mayawati ruled out any return for Siddharth, accusing him of serious anti-party activities and harming the party and Anand’s political career.
Akash, expelled earlier over a controversial tweet and internal rift, addressed Mayawati as his sole mentor and ideal, promising that no personal ties would interfere with his political duties. He assured complete alignment with Mayawati's leadership and principles.
