Mega health camp held at Balasore police hospital in collaboration with SUM Ultimate

Bhubaneswar, April 20: A Mega Health Camp, jointly organized by the Rotary Club of Balasore and SUM Ultimate, was conducted on Saturday at the Police Hospital in Balasore, receiving an enthusiastic response from the local residents.

The day-long camp witnessed 172 patients benefitting from free medical consultations and diagnostic services. A team of expert doctors from SUM Ultimate provided specialized care across orthopedics, gastroenterology, internal medicine, ophthalmology, and dentistry. On-the-spot tests, including blood sugar, bone mineral density (BMD), blood pressure, and liver FibroScan, were also carried out.

Dr. Satyajit Naik, DIG of the Eastern Range, attended the event as the chief guest. He praised the organizers for their compassionate outreach and highlighted the importance of such healthcare initiatives in uplifting community health. Dr. Naik also appreciated the dedication of the medical team and volunteers, recognizing their service as vital to social welfare.

The camp was led by the Project Chairman of the Rotary Club, who extended heartfelt thanks to all Rotarians, doctors, and support staff involved. He reaffirmed the club's ongoing mission to make quality healthcare accessible to all, particularly to those in underserved communities.
