Bhubaneswar, January 28: With a bid to take the teaching learning process of Ravenshaw Girls’ High School, one of the premier institutes in Odisha’s Cuttack to a new height, the Ministry of Education has granted Rs 86.91 crore.
Following the recommendation of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, the 150-year-old Ravenshaw Girls' High School is going to have a new makeover with the funding under the aegis of Strengthening Teaching-Learning and Results for States (STARS) project.
The sanction follows Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's visit to the school during its 150th-year celebrations on December 16, 2023
The STARS fund will be utilized in building all-new higher secondary classes (XI and XII) block, a modern indoor/outdoor stadium, and a new hostel, said sources.
