Bhubaneswar, February 13: The capital of Odisha, Bhubaneswar, experienced its first day of the season with temperatures exceeding 35°C on Thursday.
The maximum temperature in the city reached 35°C around 2:30 p.m.
On Wednesday, the state saw its first instance of temperatures surpassing 37°C this season.
Jharsuguda, a town in western Odisha, recorded the highest temperature of 37°C, according to the regional weather bulletin from the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Across Odisha, 10 locations reported maximum temperatures above 35°C on Wednesday. In comparison, the capital city of Bhubaneswar recorded 34.8°C, while Cuttack reached 33.2°C the same day.
