Bhubaneswar, June 21: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi led the grand Yoga event celebrated today at Kalinga Stadium here in Bhubaneswar on the occasion of 10th International Yoga Day.
Odisha Sports Minister Suryavanshi Suraj and Chief Secretary Pradeep Jena, Development Commissioner Anu Garg, Sports Secretary R Veenil Krishna also participated in the event.
Cm Majhi performed various asanas and addressed the gathering emphasizing the role of yoga in promoting mental well-being.
"Yoga is essential for mental well-being, not just today but every day," stated Majhi. He highlighted the statewide initiatives to observe International Yoga Day, with participation from ministers, MPs, and MLAs as honored guests, aiming to foster a healthier and stronger Odisha.
