Ghatagaon (Keonjhar), Apr 9: Showing unwavering faith and devotion, a devotee donated a stunning gold crown worth Rs 50 lakh to Goddess Tarini in Ghatagaon of Odisha’s Keonjhar district.
As per reports, Bajrang Agarwal, a resident of Sundargarh district, made the generous offering after his prayers were answered, fulfilling a spiritual promise. He donated a gold crown, weighing 445 grams and 470 milligrams, along with 25 grams of other gold ornaments including nose rings, anklets, and a forehead ornament
Temple authorities said that Bajrang had prayed to the Goddess and vowed to make the offering if his wishes were fulfilled. After receiving the blessings he had hoped for, he kept his word and made the donation.
The temple priests and fellow devotees have praised the gesture, saying it shows the deep-rooted faith many people have in the Goddess.
The temple administration shared that the crown will be used during special occasions and festivals, while the other ornaments will be a part of daily rituals. They also assured that all the ornaments will be kept safely and used in the ceremonial functions of the temple.
