Bhubaneswar, January 18: Odisha is poised for significant prosperity by 2036 and aims to emerge as a growth engine by 2047, asserted Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. The CM’s remarks came during the visit of Singapore President Tharman Shanmugaratnam to the state.
Majhi highlighted that the Odisha government, under the BJP's leadership, is dedicated to ensuring the state’s development through hard work and strategic partnerships. He described the Singapore President's visit as a crucial first step towards achieving this vision.
The Odisha government has already taken a major step forward, signing eight Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with prominent organizations from Singapore. These agreements focus on advancing industrial and technological progress in the state.
In a post on social media platform X, CM Majhi stated, "Our goal is to make Odisha prosperous by 2036 and transform it into a growth engine by 2047. Our government is working tirelessly to make this vision a reality, and the visit of Singapore's President marks the first step in this direction. Yesterday, we signed 8 MoUs with leading organizations from Singapore, which will help propel Odisha to new heights."
