ODM Public School, Patia, recently concluded its 35th Annual Day with a grand celebration titled 'Matrutva 2025'. The event was graced by the presence of esteemed guest and dignitaries, including Odisha's Deputy Chief Minister, Sri Kanak Vardhan Singhdeo, who attended as the Chief Guest.
The event was presided over by Dr. Satyabrata Minaketan, the founder of the ODM Educational Group. Distinguished guests included Sri Golok Mohapatra, Vice President of BJP Odisha, and Professor Sanjay Kumar Nayak, Vice-Chancellor of Ravenshaw University and former Director General of CIPET.
The Deputy Chief Minister, in his address, lauded the students' achievements across various fields. He emphasised the importance of quality education, training, and progressive thinking in shaping a successful future. He encouraged students to pursue their dreams with self-confidence and relentless effort. He urged the teachers to guide students towards becoming responsible citizens.
Sri Mohapatra inspired students to prioritise discipline and character-building. Dr. Nayak highlighted the significance of service, dedication, and cultural values in a student's life. Dr. Minaketan encouraged students to always seek their parents' advice and guidance, when they feel low and stressed.
The event concluded with various themed cultural performances by the students. The performances showcased the diverse talents of the students, adding a fitting end to the grand celebration.
Among those present were Professor (Dr.) P.K. Das, Chairman of the School Management Committee, Sri Artatrana Mishra, Director of Education, Dr. Rajesh Kumar Padhi, Vice Principal, along with teachers, parents, students, and other dignitaries.
