Cuttack, Feb 5: Cricket fever is taking over Cuttack and the Silver City is buzzing with excitement. Throngs of passionate cricket fans lined up outside the iconic Barabati Stadium to grab the tickets for the much-anticipated One Day International (ODI) clash between India and England as the offline ticket sales kicked off today.
The offline tickets will be available for purchase at the counters of Barabati Stadium from 9 AM to 6 PM on February 5 and 6. Each person can buy up to two tickets by presenting a valid ID card.
As per reports, four ticket counters will facilitate the offline sale and Commissionerate Police has made elaborate security arrangements to avoid any untoward incidents. As many as 17 platoons of security forces will be deployed during the sale of tickets.
It is worth mentioning that the online sale of tickets for the highly anticipated match scheduled for February 9 began at 4 pm on February 2 and were sold out within minutes. The redemption of the tickets will be done from February 7 to 9, informed Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) which sold only 4,000 tickets online.
Price details of tickets are as follows:
- Rs 1,100 for Gallery No. 1 & 3
- Rs 900 for Gallery No. 2 & 4
- Rs 1,200 for Gallery No. 5
- Rs 700 for Gallery No. 7
- Rs 6,000 for Special Enclosure
- Rs 8,000 for AC Box
- Rs 10,000 for New Pavilion
- Rs 20,000 for Corporate Box
