Bhubaneswar, April 27: Pakistani national Nagma Yusuf, living in Bhubaneswar since 2008, left the city today following a government order after the Pahalgam terror attack.

Married to an Indian citizen, her visa expired in December 2024, and her renewal request was rejected.

After receiving a 'Leave India' notice, she departed, joining four other Pakistani nationals who have already exited India.

The Odisha government has also begun deporting the remaining eight Pakistani nationals residing in the state.

Among them, Sarada Kukreja from Balangir, Razia Sultana from Balasore have been issued notices.

Sarada, who has lived in India for 35 years and holds an Aadhaar and election ID, pleaded to stay, citing her strong ties to India.

Authorities have confirmed that departures are underway as per government directives.
