New Delhi, Apr 18: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday spoke to US billionaire Elon Musk on phone and discussed the immense potential for collaboration in the areas of technology and innovation.
PM Modi’s telephonic conversation with Musk comes days before US Vice President J D Vance is scheduled to visit India next week and amid the negotiations for a bilateral trade agreement between India and the US.
Following the conversation, PM Modi took to his official ‘X’ handle and wrote, “Spoke to @elonmusk and talked about various issues, including the topics we covered during our meeting in Washington DC earlier this year. We discussed the immense potential for collaboration in the areas of technology and innovation. India remains committed to advancing our partnerships with the US in these domains.”
It is worth mentioning that the duo had met February this year during PM Modi’s Washington visit to meet US President Donald Trump.
