Bhubaneswar, April 19: Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on Saturday announced that the next phase of the Subhadra Yojona financial assistance will be disbursed on April 24, coinciding with Panchayati Raj Day celebrations in Puri.

Around 1.7 lakh women beneficiaries will receive ₹10,000 each as sixth installment of the first phase. The women will receive two installments (Rs 5000 in one installment) at a time. The financial assistance will be provided to those who had applied under the scheme on or before March 31.

Parida further stated that the distribution will follow a detailed survey to weed out ineligible beneficiaries, ensuring that only eligible women receive the financial support.

The Subhadra Yojona, launched by the state government, aims to empower women through direct financial assistance, and this phase marks a major milestone in its implementation.
