Pravasi Bharatiya Divas: The Menu for 9th January for Delegates and VIPs, the spread is increasing and very interesting.

The menu on 9th January for PBD is very well planned and will see a lot more curated dish – the attendees: VIPs, Delegates and Media. The menu is well structured curated and well planned.
Packed Meals: These meals are for those who will be going out or touring to places of interest.
Packed Lunch: The packed lunch will be a combination of a fresh Garden Green Salad, creamy Paneer Makhanwala, and a wholesome Mix Vegetable Ghanta. The Milioni Dal, a lentil dish and Tawa Pulao the rice option. To finish it up there will be Rasgulla, Plain Curd and a bottle Mineral Water Bottle for staying hydrated.
Packed Dinner: The evening meal will have 3 pieces of Paratha, (a flaky Indian bread), Chhena Badi Curry. For the dessert: Baked Rasgulla and a bottle of Mineral water.
For Media and Delegates: It will be a treat with a lavish spread to tingle the palate. Though the media personnel will only be treated to lunch.
Lunch: The lunch will be a grand affair, for 5500 pax. The Salad Bar will have Green Salad with Dressings, Greek Salad, Russian Salad, South Indian Dahi Vada, Pineapple Raita, Curd Rice, and a variety of Papads and Pickles. The soup options: Tomato Dhaniya Shorba and Broccoli Almond Soup, served with Bread Rolls, Soup Sticks, and Butter. The Vegetarian section: Paneer Makkhanwala, Dal Pancharatan, Pariba Ghanta, Saga Muga, Dalma, Kanika Rice, and Steamed Rice. For non-vegetarians, Kukuda (chicken) Aloo Jhola and Macha Besara. Butter Naan and Masala Kulcha as Indian Breads. The dessert: delightful Chaula Khiri, Pahala Rasgulla (Sugar-Free), and a 4-type Ice Cream Parlour with Hot Chocolate Sauce and Roasted Crushed Nuts.
Hi-Tea: The hi-tea menu will be a mix of savory and sweet options. Juice Tetra Packs, Tea, and Coffee. Along with Assorted Cookies and Millet Cookies. Veg Finger Sandwiches, Dhokla with Chutney, Aloo Bonda, and Vegetable Cutlets will be for savouries section. For the sweet tooth Gulab Jamun.
Dinner: The dinner menu for 3000 delegates will have: Watermelon Mint Mojito and Assorted Soft Drinks as welcome drinks. Snack will feature Bhuna Masala Chicken Kebab, Wok Fried Soya Garlic Fish with Bird Chilli and Scallion for non-vegetarians. Achari Paneer Tikka and Babycorn Salt and Pepper for vegetarian option. The soup course: Roasted Bell Pepper Tomato Soup with Fresh Basil Leaves and Burnt Garlic Chicken Soup, accompanied by a variety of freshly baked breads. There will be an International Salad Bar which will serve Garden Green Salad, Cucumber in Mint Yoghurt Dressing, Mexican Three Bean Salad with Nachos, Assorted Dahi Vada, Assorted Papad and Pickle, and a Raita Bar. The main course for non-vegetarians consist of Murg Methi Masala and Fish Kalia, while vegetarians can enjoy Corn Methi Palak Chaman, Kundan Veg, Yellow Dal Double Tadka, Panasa Katha Tarakari, Aloo Choi, Besara, Aloo Potal Rasa, and Chhena Badi Tarakari. Steamed Rice will be there with Indian Breads which indludes Pudina Paratha, Garlic Naan, Bajra Roti, and Tandoori Roti. The dessert section will feature: Millet Kheer, Moong Dal Halwa, and an Ice Cream Parlour with various sauces.
VIPs: The treat will be more exclusive for the diners
Lunch The VIP lunch has a curated selection of dishes. The Salad section offers Green Salad with Dressings, South Indian Dahi Vada, Pineapple Raita, and a variety of Papads and Pickles. Soup options included Tomato Dhaniya Shorba and Broccoli Almond Soup, served with assorted breads and butter. The lone non-vegetarian main course: Macha Beasara (Bhetki Boneless), while vegetarians will enjoy Paneer Makkhanwala, Aloo Jeera, Bhindi Kurkure, Baigan Bhaja, and Dal Pancharatan. Steamed Rice and Pariba Ghanta will be from Odiya Cuisine stable. Indian Breads will have: Butter Naan, Tandoori Roti, and Poori. Desserts: Chaula Khiri, Pahala Rasgulla (Sugar-Free), and Nimapada Chhena Jhili. Beverages will include Tea and Coffee.
Hi-Tea: The VIP hi-tea menu will be similar to the delegates' but with an addition of Fish Kaliwada.
Dinner: The VIP dinner mirrors the lunch menu in terms of starters, soups and main course. The Welcome Drink: Watermelon Mint Mojito. Starters will feature Achari Paneer Tikka and Babycorn Salt & Pepper. Soup options: Roasted Bell Pepper Tomato Soup with Fresh Basil Leaves and Burnt Garlic Veg Soup, will be served with assorted breads and butter. The main course for non-vegetarians: Fish Kalia (Bhetki Boneless), while vegetarians can enjoy Corn Methi Palak Chaman, Kundan Veg, Yellow Dal Double Tadka, Panasa Katha Tarakari, Dum Aloo, Chhena Badi Tarakari, and Steamed Rice. Indian Breads includes Pudina Paratha, Garlic Naan, Bajra Roti, and Tandoori Roti. For desserts: Baked Gur Rasgulla, Millet Kheer, and Moong Dal Halwa along with Tea and Coffee.
Overall the menu showcases a mix of, international influences, and local Odiya cuisine, which will ensure a memorable dining experience for all those attending the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas.
