New Delhi, April 27: Following the terror attack in Pahalgam that claimed 26 lives, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah called for a "decisive fight" against terrorism, stressing that while punishing the guilty, innocent people must not suffer.
In a post on X, Abdullah urged building on the public's spontaneous support against terrorism without alienating them.
The April 22 attack at Baisaran meadow near Pahalgam led to an all-party meeting, where leaders united to condemn the violence.
Meanwhile, NIA teams and the Army have launched intensified operations, and the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) has strongly condemned the attack, highlighting its cross-border links. In response, India is withdrawing Defence, Navy, and Air Advisors from its High Commission in Islamabad.
