Mumbai, Sept 6: Actor-dancer Raghav Juyal expressed his excitement about returning to his dancing roots in the upcoming film Yudhra, which stars Siddhant Chaturvedi. Raghav, who recently portrayed a negative role in Kill and last appeared in a dance number in the 2020 hit Street Dancer 3D, shared his enthusiasm: "It feels surreal to return to what I love most—dancing on screen. Dance has always been my first passion, and it's been four long years since Street Dancer 3D."
He reflected on missing the energy, rhythm, and connection with the audience that dance provides. Regarding his dance number in Yudhra, Raghav commented, "This performance is special because it combines my love for dancing with my growth as an actor. I'm thrilled to share this with my fans, who have been so patient and supportive. I hope they find as much joy in watching it as I did in filming."
In Yudhra, Raghav also explores a new dimension of his acting skills. "Playing a villain in Yudhra is an exciting new chapter for me. It’s a stark contrast to dancing, but it allows me to showcase a different facet of my craft. Collaborating with talented actors like Siddhant Chaturvedi and Malavika Mohanan, and working under the direction of Ravi Udayawar, has been an enriching experience."
Raghav added that the film provides an opportunity to delve into various aspects of performance, from intense action to high-energy dance. "I can’t wait for the audience to see what we’ve created," he said.
Directed by Ravi Udayawar and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment, Yudhra is set to hit cinemas on September 20.
