Cuttack, December 7: Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Railways on Saturday inaugurated the new NH-Facing east-side gate at the Cuttack Railway Station.
The East-side station building of Cuttack Railway Station will facilitate in seamless movement of passengers directly from the NH side. This development aims to streamline easy movement, provision of public amenities and improved passenger experience.
The new entranceinto the Cuttack Railway Station will greatly improve passengers’ convenience and safety as it will open up new connectivity to the station from the NH. This marks a new chapter in the development of railway infrastructure in Odisha, aligning with the vision to build a world-class rail network.
After concluding his engagements in Odisha, Ashwini Vaishnaw will depart from Bhubaneswar and return to New Delhi via Varanasi on the morning of 8th December 2024.
The Minister of Railways' visit highlights the government's commitment to strengthening infrastructure and improving the ease of travel for citizens across India, with a particular focus on the eastern region.
