Reliance Foundation Hospital marks a decade of service to the nation, having treated over 2.75 million patients, including 1.5 lakh children. To commemorate this milestone, the foundation announced new initiatives focused on improving children's health, particularly for those from marginalized communities.
Nita Ambani, Founder and Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, shared a heartfelt message emphasizing the hospital's commitment to pediatric care. "As a mother, I'm deeply moved by the extraordinary care our hospital provides to our children," she expressed. "It fills me with pride to share that we have performed over 2,000 life-saving complex cardiac surgeries for infants and neonates."
The announcement was accompanied by a touching video showcasing stories of children whose lives were transformed by the hospital's care. Parents expressed gratitude for successful surgeries and life-saving treatments their children received.
New Initiatives to Enhance Children's Healthcare:
Reliance Foundation is launching impactful initiatives to further strengthen its commitment to children's health:
Free heart screenings: Addressing the prevalence of congenital heart diseases, the foundation will conduct free screenings for 50,000 children from marginalized communities. Early detection through these screenings will enable timely intervention and treatment.
Free treatment: Children diagnosed with heart conditions through the screening program will receive free treatment at Reliance Foundation Hospital, ensuring access to quality care regardless of financial constraints.
Advanced pediatric center: A new, dedicated center for pediatric chemotherapy and dialysis will be established, equipped with advanced technology to provide the best possible care for children with cancer and kidney diseases.
"These initiatives represent our commitment to safeguarding our children and empowering them to lead healthier, happier lives," Mrs. Ambani stated.
Reliance Foundation's dedication to children's health is evident in its decade-long service and these new initiatives. By providing free screenings, treatment, and advanced facilities, the foundation is making a significant contribution to improving the well-being of children in India.
