Bhubaneswar: With over 1.22 lakh Sikandar tickets being sold out when the Salman Khan’s movie is releasing on the cinema screens on Sunday, the mega star has interacted with media in Mumbai sharing many revelations.
Sikandar, which is set to hit cinemas this Eid, is directed by Ghazini director AR Murugadoss. The trailer of the film promises high-octane action.
Ahead of its premiere, when Salman met the media in Mumbai , he talked about the gossips that were swirling all around for a while, especially the much-anticipated collaboration with director Atlee, which later went to All Arjun.
SALMAN KHAN OPENS UP ON ATLEE
For months, reports suggested that Salman would be teaming up with Jawan director Atlee.
However, during his recent media interaction, the actor confirmed that the project has been delayed due to budget constraints.
Salman revealed, “He has written a very big budget action film. The film with Atlee is delayed; the budget is an issue for the film. I don’t know who among the two (Rajinikanth sir or Kamal Haasan sir) will be in it.”
Salman also dropped an exciting update about his next project, which promises intense action.
He said, “I’m doing another big action film after Sikandar. There, the action is on another level. That’s rustic action.”
When asked for more details, he made a major revelation:
“I’m doing it with my elder brother in the industry…Sanjay Dutt,” While the director and producer are yet to be finalised, fans are already excited about the duo reuniting on screen.
TIGER VS PATHAAN NOT ON CARDS, ANDAZ APNA APNA 2 TO HAPPEN
In the bollywood bylanes, one of the biggest speculations doing round has been about Tiger vs Pathaan, a crossover between Salman and Shah Rukh Khan’s spy characters. Salman cleared the air and said, “Tiger vs Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan is not happening as of now.”
However, he did confirm that discussions are happening for a sequel to the cult classic Andaz Apna Apna.
“Both Aamir Khan and I are excited, and I am sure Rajkumar Santoshi will do a wonderful job with it,” he added.
The Tiger 3 star also admitted that he is currently torn between two potential projects. Meanwhile, he confirmed that he is working on a film with Sooraj Barjatya.
On his Eid release, the superstar said, “I am hoping people working get good bonuses on Eid so that they can watch Sikandar, Mohanlal sir’s L2: Empuraan, and also Sunny Deol’s new film (Jaat). Three big stars are coming with big films, and I hope all work.”
Sikandar features Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, and Sharman Joshi in key roles.
