Bhubaneswar: With IMDb ranking Sikandar starring Salman Khan as the most anticipated movie in the year 2025, fans of Sallu bhai have been on cloud nine, this is so when in the last months of 2024, the maker of the 2014 movie Kick, Sajid Nadiadwala had revealed that Salman Khan will be going to reprise the role as Devi Lal Singh aka Devil in the second installment of the successful movie.
Sajid made his directorial debut with the 2014 released movie Kick. The buzz has been that the makers are now busy in hitting the floors this year.
Moreover, the actor-filmmaker duo share a great bond of friendship and both are excited about the collaboration on the sequel - Kick 2
Led by Salman Khan, Kick also starred Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Jacqueliene Fernandez, and Randeep Hooda in key roles. It was an adaptation of the 2009 Telugu film of the same name.

Salman starred movie Kick was released in year 2014 on over 3800 screens across the country. The Salman starred movie saw footfalls to the tune of 2.42 cr. The Sallu bhai starred movie had collected Rs 231 cr in India, and had a Rs 24 cr opener on its release day.
The worldwide gross collected by the film stood at a massive Rs 352cr.
THE BIG BUZZ
Amidst the Sikandar euphoria, Salman Khan in a Big Boss 18 programme recently revealed that scripting of Kick 2 is over. The film will soon go on to the floors.
The big buzz swirling around has been that an announcement video will be launched on Eid 2025. As per the buzz, the star cats has been decided. The following stars of Kick has been retaiedn the upcoming sequel.
The cast will be Randeep Hooda, Jacqueline Fernandez, Mithun Chakraborty. The script of the film has been done by A.R murgadoss .It will be directed by Sajid Nadiadwala
There are talks going on for the music composer of the sequel. The buzz also confirms there are high chances of the makers retaining the Sikandar technical team.
