While the original Telugu version chips in a whopping Rs 119.55 cr, the Hindi version numbers came as super surprise when it collected over 131 cr in just 2 days,breaking all records. The Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam versions have contributed Rs 13.5cr, 1.65cr and Rs 6.8 cr, respectively.
As per the box office data, Allu Arjun starred Pushpa 2The Rule had a record earning in Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam.
However, if worldwide gross collections of the Allu Arjun movie are to be considered, the film has so far grossed 449 cr.

As per the footfall data on Day 1 released, here is the list of top opening day footfalls given below.

- KGF Chapter 2 – 265 Lakh
- Pushpa 2 The Rule – 70 lakh

- Salaar Ceasfie – 55 Lakh

A look at the above data shows on opening day footfalls, Bahubali and KGF 2 maintained their record intact.
PUSHPA 2 THE RULE BUDGET
As per the information provided by the makers of the films, the budget of the film has been approximately Rs 500 cr, including print and publicity.
Though the film has earned Rs 1065 cr via pre-release deals, including selling of the OTT rights for Rs 650 cr, it is the net box office collection that will deliver the verdict of blockbuster to the film.
Early trade reports suggest that the Pushpa 2 had a magnificent Saturday. The Sunday advance booking report shows the film has already sold over 13.18 lakh tickets across the languages.
In Hindi, the Sunday advance booking saw selling of over 9 lakh tickets till evening of Saturday. The film advance booking collection for Sunday puts the total collection at Rs 38 cr.
HOW MUCH PUSHP 2 NEED TO EARN?
As per the yardsticks of box office, the Allu Arjun starred Pushpa 2 The Rule needs to gross net Rs 800 cr to be declared blockbuster.
With no major competitor in sight next week, and given its record grossing on Friday (non-holiday), trade pundits are of the opinion that Pushpa 2 The Rule may cross Rs 800 cr by the next weekend to emerge as the fastest all time blockbuster in India.
In the backdrop of superb response, trade pundits are of the view that Pushpa 2 The Rule’s life time will continue till Makar Sankranti 2025, when his cousin and mega star Chiranjeev’s son RRR fame Ram Charan’s Game Changer will be released.
