Akhandalamani temple reopens today

Bhadrak, Aug 23: The famous Akhandalamani Temple at Aradi in Bhadrak district has reopened on Monday with strict adherence to Covid-19 protocols. The temple, which was remained shut for the last four months, has reopened in a phased manner. All devotees will be allowed to have the darshan of the Lord. The administration has urged the devotees to adhere to the Covid-19 guidelines strictly. Covid protocols like use of face mask, hand sanitising and social distancing have been made mandatory for the devotees before making entry into the shrine. The marriage and thread ceremonies won’t be allowed on the temple premises due to Covid-19 restrictions. Devotees will have darshan from 6 am to 8 pm. They must wear masks on the temple premises and outside too. The Akhandalamani temple will be closed to devotees on Sundays for sanitization.
