Bhubaneswar, Oct 17: As the investigation progresses, sensational information is coming out one after another against Odisha's 'serial blackmailer' Archana Nag. The state politics of Odisha is agog about her as one after another surprising information is emerging about her sextortion empire. According to the police source, Archana Nag had once borrowed Rs 20,000 from a businessman in Bhubaneswar in 2018 for her son’s hospital needs. Later, threatened the businessman with sexual exploitation charges when he asked to return the money. Meanwhile, the Bhubaneswar Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) court today rejected the bail plea of Archana Nag. Khandagiri Police had produced Archana before the SDJM Court. Earlier on Friday, Archana’s lawyer Debasish Mohapatra had informed that if the lower court will not grant bail then they will further apply for bail in the Sessions Court. Notably, Archana was arrested on charges of honey trapping and blackmailing several political biggies and businessmen of the state and has been lodged in Jharpada jail.
