In a significant political development, Avadh Ojha, a prominent UPSC educator and motivational speaker, has joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in New Delhi. Known for his engaging teaching style and viral political commentary, Ojha's entry into politics comes just ahead of the crucial Delhi elections, marking a new chapter in his career.

Avadh Ojha, popularly known as Ojha Sir, hails from Gonda district in Uttar Pradesh and has been a notable figure in the UPSC coaching scene for years. His online presence and political insights have garnered him immense popularity, making him a well-known name among aspirants and the general public alike.

Ojha joined AAP in the presence of the party's national convener Arvind Kejriwal and former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia. Expressing his gratitude, Ojha thanked the AAP leadership for the opportunity to enter politics while continuing his work in the education field. He emphasized his primary goal of developing the education infrastructure in the country.

Arvind Kejriwal highlighted the potential benefits of Ojha's entry into politics, particularly for the education sector. Kejriwal noted that Ojha's experience as an educator and his efforts to prepare the younger generation for employment would contribute significantly to India's development.

With Delhi set to go to polls early next year, Ojha's entry into AAP is seen as a strategic boost for the party's bid for a third term. His reputation for combining history, current affairs, and geopolitics in his teaching makes him a valuable asset for the party's campaign.

Born to working parents in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh, Ojha pursued his early education in his hometown. Despite his parents' encouragement to take up medicine, he set his sights on cracking the UPSC exam. After facing setbacks, he transitioned into the field of UPSC coaching, eventually opening his own institute in New Delhi's Mukherjee Nagar in 2005. In 2019, he moved to Pune to establish Iqra IAS Academy.

Avadh Ojha's entry into politics with AAP marks a significant moment for both the education sector and the political landscape in Delhi. His dedication to improving education infrastructure and his popularity among the youth could play a crucial role in shaping the upcoming elections. As Delhi prepares for the polls, Ojha's influence and contributions will be closely watched, highlighting the broader implications of his political journey.
