Bhubaneswar, February 2: While Basant Panchami brings festive cheer to the people of Odisha, it also marks the arrival of early summer heat. Today, temperatures have surged across various parts of the state, raising concerns about an intense summer ahead.
As of 2:30 PM, the regional meteorological center in Bhubaneswar recorded a temperature of 34.4°C in the capital city. Paralakhemundi experienced the highest temperature of the day, reaching 35.6°C.
Additionally, a yellow warning has been issued for dense fog over the next 24 hours in several districts, including Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Khurda, Nayagarh, Angul, and Dhenkanal.
