Bhubaneswar: Ever since well known director Priyadarshan has announced the return of Hera Pheri 3, the comic show buffs have been excited to know about how the notorious trio of Raju, Shyam and Babu Bhaiya will now hit back the silver screen. There is excitement about their roles in the new sequel.
It needs mentioning that the legendary cult classic Director Priyadarshan has recently announced the launch of Hera Pheri 3 on his Happy Birthday.
This announcement has made Akki fans run amok with excitement.
A super excited fan has posted that since its now official that Hera Pheri 3 will be directed by none other than OG of he Genre himself, this Is the Biggest News Of The Decade For Indian Flim Industry.
As per Priyadarshan’s announcement, Hera Pheri 3 will feature the laughter-blaster trios of Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Suneil Shetty.
As per reports, in a promo function of Hera Pheri 3, it is heard Paresh Rawal (Baburao Ganpatrao Apte) saying – Ab to Raju ke naam pe hi Hera Pheri re baba…. , suggest something of a quirky plot in the upcoming 3rd instalment of Hera Pheri franchise.
HERA PHERI FRANCHISE DREAMRUN
The Hera Pheri franchise has come in 2 parts so far.
Hera Pheri first hits the silverscreen in year 2000. The comedy film raked Rs 64 lakh on day 1. In the first weekend, it grossed Rs 1.97cr. The film saw a total footfall of 82,65 lakh. The film collected 123 cr net at the Box office.
In 2006, the sequel Phir Hera Pheri released. The film saw a footfall of 1.15cr. The net box office collection stood at Rs 111cr.
Over the years, both the films attained the status of cult classic.
BIG UPDATE ON HERA PHERI 3
The script of Hera Pheri 3 has not been prepared till date.
The insider buzz is that Director Priyadarshan will work on the script of Hera Pheri 3 after locking the edit of Bhoot Bangla. The buzz added that script of Akshay Kumar starred Hera Pheri will be taken up in June 2025.
After locking the script, Hera Pheri will go on floors by December 2025. The schedule is to wrap of the shooting of Hera Pheri 3 by May 2026. So that, the film will hit the silverscreens in the year 2026.
