New Delhi, February 4: Manish Sisodia, AAP leader and former Delhi Education Minister, accused the Election Commission (EC) and Delhi Police of collaborating with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to manipulate the ongoing Delhi elections.
At a press conference with Chief Minister Atishi, Sisodia claimed the BJP was using violence, voter intimidation, and hooliganism to sway votes, particularly targeting women and young voters.
He alleged that BJP supporters were threatening workers, including acid attacks, and forcibly taking voter IDs from slum dwellers.
Sisodia criticized the EC and police for not addressing these violations. He warned that if the BJP wins, benefits like free education and electricity in Delhi would be at risk.
In response, the EC stated it addressed all complaints through proper channels, asserting its impartiality.
