Bhubaneswar, February 4: Plus 2 Exams of Council of Higher Seceondary Education (CHSE), Odisha is going to begin from February 18.
In a bid to check irregularity and manage the exam sessions in fair ways, the CHSE in a first has adopted 5-tier security system beginning from dispatch of question papers to declaration of result.
Meanwhile, the CHSE has announced the schedule of the annual Plus 2 examinations for Arts, Science, Commerce and Vocational studies on Tuesday. As per the timetable the +2 examinations will conclude on March 28.
As many as 3,93, 619 students will appear in the annual Plus 2 examination in Arts, Science and Commerce streams this time.
The Plus 2 examinations are set to take place in 1,276 centres across the state.
CHSE officials informed that apart from the college-level squads led by the centre superintendents, there will be observer squads from hubs, district administration squads and zonal squads in order to beef up exam surveillance at centers.
As many as 35 special squads will be formed by the Central office whereas identity of the officials will be kept secret.
The squad members will conduct surprise raids at examination centres to keep vigil on question paper leak outs and other malpractices during the exam sessions.
