Bhubaneswar: With Salman Khan starred Sikandar’s first teaser turning a blockbuster, the makers are readying it for Eid release.
As per reports, the final leg of shooting is underway and the makers of the action-packed revenge drama are planning to release the film on March 25.
Meanwhile, a strong gossip going around is the main antagonist in the much-anticipated action thriller Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, will be played by tollywood actor S J Suryah
South superstar villain SJ Suryah has donned the main antagonist role in superstar Ram Charan starred Game Changer. He gave a terrific villainous look in the upcoming film Game Changer that will be releasing on Jan 10.
The buzz, therefore, has added more excitement. With the likes of Suryah up against Salman Khan, this high-octane film promises to be a cinematic extravaganza, though the makers are yet to deny or put their assent to the gossip.
The star-studded film also has Rashmika Mandanna in lead, along with actors like Sathyaraj of Bahubali fame, Sharman Joshi, and Prateik Babbar.
Even as Salman’s looks in the first teaser has not been of Dabaang type, the Bollywood superstar’s action drama generated one of the highest viewership for a Bollywood film teaser.
Directed by AR Murugadoss, the teaser mostly received a positive reception which translated into huge viewership as it scored 41.6 million views on YouTube, becoming the second most-watched Bollywood teaser in the first 24 hours after Prabhas-fronted Adipurush which generated 69 million views.
As per Sacnik, Sikandar is also the first teaser of a Salman Khan-starrer to score 30+ million views on the first day, beating Bharat which debuted with 21.5 million views. Among the Indian films, Sikandar teaser is the 5th most watched, behind Radhe Shyam (42.65 million views).
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Sikandar is one of the biggest and keenly awaited films of 2025.
