EARLY LIFE
Jaikishan Kakubhai Shroff, popularly known as Jackie Shroff, was born on February 1, 1957, in Bombay. He was born to Kakubhai Haribhai Shroff, a Gujarati, and Rita Shroff, a Turkmen who fled the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic during a coup. Jackie grew up in the Teen Batti locality of Mumbai and faced numerous challenges during his childhood. His father was an astrologer, and the family struggled financially after losing their money in the stock market.
Jackie dropped out of junior college after completing his 11th standard and took up various odd jobs to support his family. His journey to stardom began when he was spotted by a talent scout while waiting at a bus stop, leading to his first modeling assignment
MARITAL LIFE
Jackie is married to Ayesha Dutt, a model and film producer. They have two children, actor Tiger Shroff and entrepreneur Krishna Shroff.
