The Indian Army has announced recruitment for the 64th SSC (Tech-Men) and 35th SSC (Tech-Women) Course, inviting applications from eligible unmarried Male and unmarried Female Engineering Graduates, as well as Widows of Indian Armed Forces Defence Personnel who died in service

The Indian Army has announced recruitment for the 64th SSC (Tech-Men) and 35th SSC (Tech-Women) Course, inviting applications from eligible unmarried Male and unmarried Female Engineering Graduates, as well as Widows of Indian Armed Forces Defence Personnel who died in service. Here are the details:

Total Vacancy: 381 posts

SSC (Tech) Men: 350 posts

SSC (Tech) Women: 29 posts

SSCW Tech: 1 post

SSCW Non-Tech: 1 post

Educational qualification: Candidates must have completed or be in the final year of their Engineering Degree course. Final-year students must submit proof of passing and all marksheets by April 1, 2025, and produce the Engineering Degree Certificate within 12 weeks of starting training at the Pre-Commissioning Training Academy (PCTA).

Age limit: Candidates should be between 20 to 27 years old as of April 1, 2025 (born between April 2, 1998, and April 1, 2005, inclusive).

Application process: Applications can be submitted through the official website at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. The deadline for applications is August 14, 2024.

Selection process: Candidates will be shortlisted based on the organization's criteria. Shortlisted candidates will receive center allotments via email and can select their SSB interview dates on a first-come, first-served basis. The selection process includes two stages, with candidates progressing from Stage 1 to Stage 2 based on their performance. A merit list will be prepared for each engineering stream/subject based on SSB interview results.
