The Indian Army has announced recruitment for the 64th SSC (Tech-Men) and 35th SSC (Tech-Women) Course, inviting applications from eligible unmarried Male and unmarried Female Engineering Graduates, as well as Widows of Indian Armed Forces Defence Personnel who died in service. SSC (Tech) Men: 350 posts
SSC (Tech) Women: 29 posts
SSCW Tech: 1 post
SSCW Non-Tech: 1 post
Educational qualification: Candidates must have completed or be in the final year of their Engineering Degree course. Final-year students must submit proof of passing and all marksheets by April 1, 2025, and produce the Engineering Degree Certificate within 12 weeks of starting training at the Pre-Commissioning Training Academy (PCTA).
Age limit: Candidates should be between 20 to 27 years old as of April 1, 2025 (born between April 2, 1998, and April 1, 2005, inclusive).
Application process: Applications can be submitted through the official website at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. The deadline for applications is August 14, 2024.
Selection process: Candidates will be shortlisted based on the organization's criteria. Shortlisted candidates will receive center allotments via email and can select their SSB interview dates on a first-come, first-served basis. The selection process includes two stages, with candidates progressing from Stage 1 to Stage 2 based on their performance. A merit list will be prepared for each engineering stream/subject based on SSB interview results.
