Balasore, May 14: Soro MLA Parsuram Dhada has been declared as the new BJP candidate from the Soro Assembly constituency in Balasore district.
BJP has changed the party candidate here on tuesday in the eleventh hour, replacing the party face Rajendra Das, who was fielded earlier.
Sources said, the state BJP reportedly fielded Parsuram due his political activism in the Soro area since he was twice elected on BJD tickets in the last elections consecutively with thumping majority.
Worth mentioning, Dhada was recently switched over to the BJP from the BJD after denial of ticket from his bastion.
