Bhubaneswar, February 1: Odisha BJP President Manmohan Samal strongly criticized Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi for their comments about President Droupadi Murmu and her speech, calling their remarks “unfortunate.”

Samal expressed his disapproval, stating, “This is unfortunate. What Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi said is regrettable. It cannot be condemned enough.” He also pointed out that despite their long tenure in power and positions of leadership, they seemed to have forgotten basic respect and decorum.

Sonia Gandhi's controversial remarks came in response to President Murmu’s address to the joint session of Parliament, where she described the President as being “very tired” and referred to her as a “poor thing,” sparking widespread backlash across the political spectrum.
