Bhubaneswar, October 30: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi launched the logo and web portal for the “Bikasita Bharat Pain Bikasita Odisha” initiative on Wednesday at the Lok Seva Bhavan.
This initiative aims to align Odisha’s developmental goals with the national objective of a developed India by 2047.
In a social media post, Majhi expressed pride in Odisha’s trajectory under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Purvodaya Scheme, which places emphasis on Eastern India's development. He highlighted the state’s upcoming centennial celebration in 2036 and emphasized that achieving a "developed Odisha" is pivotal to the national vision.
The Odisha government has invited contributions from intellectuals, organizations, educators, the public, and the Odia diaspora for a “Vision Document.” This collaborative approach will ensure that the Vision Document encapsulates diverse perspectives and guides the state’s developmental path.
CM Majhi affirmed that this Vision Document would embody the aspirations of Odia citizens, stating, “Suggestions will be carefully considered and implemented to guide the state’s development.”
With collective efforts, he expressed hope for Odisha to become an economically prosperous state, realizing the vision of a “Bikasita Odisha” for a “Bikasita Bharat.”
