OPCC President Bhakta Charan Das launched the march at 10 a.m. at the Biju Patnaik International Airport. A large number of Congress workers joined him as they began their journey through Bhubaneswar, Pipili, and other significant locations, making their way towards Puri's Shree Khetra.

Das outlined the day’s itinerary, mentioning, "We will pass through Shishu Bhavan, Rajmahal, Kalpana, and Ravi Talkies Square before reaching Lingipur around 1 p.m. After a lunch break, the march will continue towards Pipili, where we will rest for the night."

The Padayatra will resume on February 20, with the group moving on from Chandanpur towards Puri. After another stop for lunch at 'Bata Mangala', Das will visit the Lord Jagannath Temple to seek blessings for the party's revival.

Afterward, he plans to address the media to provide updates on the march’s progress and share the party’s plans.

The Padayatra aims to reconnect with former leaders, engage with grassroots supporters, and restore the Congress party’s historic influence in Odisha.
