Bhubaneswar, April 24: Odisha Law Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan said that the state will soon initiate strict measures against infiltrators living in Odisha.
He said the matter was discussed with Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, following the recent terror attack in Pahalgam that killed 26, including one Odia.
Condemning the attack as a "heinous act by Pakistani terrorists," Harichandan assured strong action and support for the victims.
The move follows CM Majhi's earlier revelation in the Assembly about 3,738 infiltrators, mostly from Bangladesh, being identified in the state.
