Balasore, June 9: The demolition of Bahanaga High School in Odisha’s Balasore, where the bodies of the triple-train accident victims were kept for 36 hours, commenced this morning.
The demolition is being carried out in the presence of the Tehsildar and police.
As per reports, the school is being demolished because villagers have assumed that it has turned into a haunted place as 288 bodies were kept there for two days. The students are also in a state of panic to enter the school after the summer vacation.
For this reason, the school committee had met Balasore Collector Dattatraya Bhausaheb Shinde on Thursday in this regard.
