‘Operation Green Clean’: Over 17 acres of Ganja plants destroyed in Boudh

Boudh, Nov 7: In a bid to curb ganja cultivation and trafficking in Boudh, the district administration has launched operation “Green clean” and destroyed illegal ganja plant.
The cops destroyed the ganja plants valued at approximately Rs 8.7 crore which were being cultivated in Boudh district.
During the operation, a total of 87,000 ganja plants were destroyed. The operation was conducted in two locations under the jurisdiction of the Ideal Police Station. Police officials destroyed the ganja plants in the forest areas of Sunajhari and Amjhari under Baghiapada Range.
Meanwhile, police have initiated a thorough probe to identify the cultivators of the cannabis plants at the site.
