Bhubaneswar, January 7: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) is all set to extend its establishments to the remotest area of the state.
In a first the Commission is going to begin its new Exam Extension counter at Jeypore in Koraput.
The OPSC authorities on Tuesday formalised the decision with issuance of an official order.
According to the OPSC’s resolution, the extension office will be the Exam Zone for the district which will facilitate aspirants to appear hassle less competitive exams at their doorsteps.
In pursuance of the CM’ vision the OPSC has taken initiatives to enhance accessibility for candidates sitting public examinations from the remote districts.
Worth mentioning, the OPSC has got its extended Exam zones in Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, and Sambalpur.
