Speaking to the media, Vadra voiced his frustration with the ongoing investigation, maintaining that there is "nothing" in the case and expressing hope for a swift resolution.

“There’s nothing in this case... I just hope it comes to a conclusion,” Vadra said, suggesting that his summons were intended to divert attention from more pressing national issues.

He further alleged that the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was targeting him for political reasons.

“Whenever I speak up in the interest of the country, I am silenced. Rahul Gandhi is not allowed to speak in Parliament. This is all part of a political vendetta by the BJP,” Vadra claimed.

Vadra also addressed speculation about his political ambitions, suggesting that his public popularity and interest in joining politics may have prompted renewed scrutiny.

“People want me to enter politics. Every time I express that desire, they dig up old matters to pull me down and shift focus from real issues,” he said.

Vadra pointed to the repeated summons and the extensive documentation he has already provided.

“It’s been 20 years, and still they haven’t found anything. I’ve been summoned 15 times, sat for ten hours each time, and submitted 23,000 documents. Now they want all of those again within a week — that’s not an easy task,” he added.

According to official sources, this was Vadra's second summons in the Gurugram land case, following a previous one on April 8. He has consistently maintained that the investigation is politically motivated.
