Bhubaneswar; Superstar Thalaivar Rajnikant seems back with a bang.
The Amitabh Bachchan of south, who had a very dim 2024 with his film Vettaiyan with Big B turning out to an average grosser, seems to have re-plugged his mojo in the upcoming sequel to his blockbuster film Jailer.
On the occasion of Pongal, the makers have dropped the teaser of Jailer 2.

TEASER FIRST LOOK
This pan Indian film Jailer 2’s teaser has all the fantasies of Rajni Film.
For instance, in the teaser it was seen, when Rajni was gheraoed by his powerful tank-mounted rivals, Rajnikant with a rivetted and uncluttered look took out his specs calmly, only to smoke out them in a single bomb strike.
The film is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and music in the film has been composed Anirudh Ravichander.
The teaser shows both discussing about their next project. The duo then went into a chill mode, when the thaw was broken by some running goons being killed with sharp objects (knifes) set off after them with the precision of missile shoot.
As they watched it all with awe and horror, Rajnikant aka Muthuvel Pandian makes grand entry in style.
The megastar was seem equipped with a sword-like weapon and a gun. Both Nelson and Anirudh could be seen looking hilariously petrified. While exiting the house, the actor drops a bomb inside, which causes a big-bang explosion.
After smoking out his rivals in one-go, Rajnikant turns on to the screen and says a goosebump-worthy dialogue “Tiger Ka Hukum” (Tiger’s order). In the film, the superstar’s character was also referred to as a tiger.

The Rajnikant – Tamanna Bhatia starred movie Jailer had a lifetime run of 28 days. According to scanik report Jailer raked in Rs307.9 crore in India in nine days of its release.
The Film has grossed Rs 409 cr in India. And the worldwide gross had been Rs 607 cr. Rajnikant’s film was the second highest-grossing film in Kollywood history, both domestically and worldwide.
The Rajni starred movie also had the record of the highest footfall/grossing movie this year (2023) within 7 days of release. The fastest record reminds the fastest run of Pushpa 2 The Rule.
