Bhubaneswar, February 2: Jatani MLA Bibhuti Bhusan Balabantary sprang into action to help a young man who was severely injured in an accident on National Highway 16 near the Aaiginia overbridge in Bhubaneswar on Saturday.
The accident occurred when a truck, heavily loaded, struck the young man, causing him to be thrown off his bike and lose consciousness in the middle of the road. At that moment, MLA Balabantary was en route to his constituency for political work and witnessed the unfortunate scene. Without hesitation, he stopped his car and rushed to assist the injured youth.
Balabantary immediately contacted local authorities and arranged for an ambulance to take the victim to the hospital. The Tamando police, upon receiving the alert, quickly arrived at the scene and ensured the youth was transported to Capital Hospital for treatment.
This is not the first time the MLA has demonstrated his compassion. Known for his humanitarian efforts, Balabantary has consistently supported accident victims by providing medical aid and assistance during crises. His dedication to helping the underprivileged and those in distress has earned him a reputation as a leader who genuinely cares for the welfare of others.
